In 2018, the artist embarked on an ambitious new project centered on the production of a series of drawings exploring historically significant sites and neighborhoods in Manhattan. Through the use of an organic medium—charcoal—the artist prompts spectators to consider the evolving and fraught relationship between the natural and built environments."
