Curated by Gallery 104 Director Beth Hughes, this show brings together acrylic and aerosol painted works that explore interrelated ideas about mass media, the cult of celebrity, and notions of authenticity in the digital age."

"NYA Gallery is pleased to present NY Rambling: Drawing Light from the Shadows, a solo exhibition of large-scale charcoal drawings by Miriam Innes. In 2018, the artist embarked on an ambitious new project centered on the production of a series of drawings exploring historically significant sites and neighborhoods in Manhattan. Through the use of an organic medium—charcoal—the artist prompts spectators to consider the evolving and fraught relationship between the natural and built environments."
