The name ETTE is derived from a nickname her grandmother gave her as a child, Taylorette. Her grandmother was an international award winning Kodak photographer, published illustrator, and successful artist. She unexpectedly passed in November of 2017, two weeks after Taylor moved to New York in pursuit of becoming an artist. It is believed that all of her artistic abilities live on within Ette. To attest to this statement, it should be known that Ette grew up painting right handed and now paints exclusively with her left. Her grandmother’s dominant hand.
