The first time I drew abstract painting is when I was fourteen. I suppose I wanted to illustrate something that did not exist in the world, although I did not recognize exactly what abstract painting was. When I started to have an interest in alien, I felt the way people think about aliens look was boring. I had been getting interested in the unknown world while I created invisible things. Uncertain structure has been turned into a geometrical figure by my imagination. That allowed me to start my own journey of painting.
It was quite a long journey that my abstract painting which started as a drawing, turned into painting, and there has been thousands of processes. Surprisingly, I studied Electronic and Communications Engineering. Even though it was my major, I had more interest in component which is related to scientific experiment. I was inspired by various symbols such as resistive terminal, voltage, and so on. Eventually, I transferred to College of Fine Arts.
My ultimate pursuit is based on embodying the inner world. Because of that, I significantly pay attention to structure to make elements of artwork harmonized well. I am visually inspired by all nature, as well as surrounding circumstance. Also, when I considered scenery as a big canvas, I have became to see every scenery abstractly. Dividing line between Sky and mountain, boundary line between building and another, electric wires which cut across sky, and even traffic lights at dark night, these are my source of inspiration. I feel that the red, green, and yellow lights, and even light spreading that is rounded are parts of magnificent abstract painting.
Ultimately, I firmly believe that people have their own unconscious, potential world inside. I wish people come up to their emotion via exploring themselves, and their potential inner world.
