Sarah Fox-Wangler is an abstract and modern and representational artist. Her work is profoundly communicative and is a great example of the artistic making process. She uses both imagery from the past and present, and her use of materials from found objects to raw pigments is extraordinary.
Sarah has been a tattoo artist for over 20 years and worked extensively in scar camouflage, artistic tattooing and permanent pigmentation. Sarah has a fine art degree from the University of Michigan and works daily in her studio creating paintings, drawings, welded sculptural art and more.
Sarah enjoys pushing boundaries and exploring the communicative and dynamic aspect of archeology in petroglyph rock art, pictographs and ideoform writing systems, as well as technology and how it approaches the world of art.
