Acrylic and Flashe on Aluminum Panel
Lesley Bodzy is an artist who works in Houston and New York City. She is currently a 2021 MFA candidate at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Lesley is interested in creating luminosity and in the interplay of light and color. As a painter she works with acrylics, encaustic, and mixed media. She also creates sculptures using 3-D printing and plexiglass. Lesley recently showed her work at The Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT and at Guild Hall in Easthampton, NY. Her work has been shown in New York City, Houston, Philadelphia, Sonoma, and Los Angeles. She has work in private collections in New York City, Houston and Los Angeles. Lesley has a BA from Mount Holyoke College and also studied art at Hunter College and at the Art Students League of New York.
