Vincia believes she was born to create (hence, the name of her brand Creativincia) and that her work radiantly speaks for itself. Born and raised in Jamaica Queens, NY Vincia (pronounced vin-see-yuh) has always been a creative. From her fun style of dress to interior decorating her own living spaces, She has always had a love for anything involving art.
Her background in The Arts stems from studying various art subjects (such as drawing, painting, collage, mixed media art; etc.) at Pennsylvania State University as well as at SUNY Empire State College. Vincia pulls her colorful abstract style from everyday living and experiences and loves to use color to portray joyful moments Even when she is not feeling her best she feels that art is her "happy place".
She says that “Art is the greatest form of self-expression. Regardless of how I’m feeling when I pick up a paint brush my creativity comes to life and I let that expression come through on the canvas.” With a love for bright, metallic and vibrant colors all of her abstract pieces are one of a kind unique originals not to be replicated.
As an artist she strives to develop paintings that allow her to continue to press through pain, presenting her passion with paint, hoping to spark joy to any audience one brush stroke at a time.
