Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, Rafael Colon is a self-taught, NYC-based artist focused on illustrating, wood-burning, and painting skateboards, canvases, sneakers, fabric, and wood. He is a former Marine and inspired by history, art history, and his travels. He is passionate about creating detailed work on a variety of media that is visually impactful, innovative, and imaginative.
