ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Hirene is the second of eleven siblings.
She was born in City Bell, near Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1964. Raised in nature, her father a homeopath and her mother a yoga and reiki teacher.
Magical and intuitive of thought due to her upbringing in Eastern philosophy, her parents, both artists, painter and potter.
She studied scenography, ceramics, engraving, painting, drawing and sculpture. Design in Visual Communication. Muralist, she also worked on furniture, serigraphy and restoration.
She considers that all this experience is necessary to work in both dimensions.

'Splendor formae' is her definition of beauty.
'Beauty is a concept, a quality present in a thing, object or person that produces intense pleasure to the mind, and comes from sensory manifestations. ... It could be defined as the splendor of form through matter.
'beauty is in the mind of those who appreciate it, it refers to the set of values, references and expectations'.
