ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Jolanta Gradus
Jolanta “Jola” Gradus received her Doctor of Dentistry Degree in Medical Academy of Warsaw. She had practiced as a dentist for about 40 years, but painting has always been her second passion. She completed a series of theoretical and practical studies at the Warsaw Academy of Arts. At the conclusion of the studies she presented her paintings for evaluation by Professors of the Academy. At that point she was accepted as a member of the Warsaw Society of Visual Arts. She actively participated in activities of the Society for over 20 years. Several years ago she moved to the United States. She became the American Citizen last year. She lives in Southern California.
