ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Shelley Shamah
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
Since she was just five years old, Shelley Shamah has adored everything about painting, so much so that nearly fourteen years later she has not yet settled on a style. She bounces between abstract, representational realism and everything in between. She enjoys working with multimedia works, often starting something with one medium and altering it in the process.
Shelley is a current student at Pratt Institute. Her work has been featured in award winning publications and her photography received first place in the American Scholastic Press Association. This is her first public exhibition.
