My name is Sabrina Beretta, I'm a french artist born in 1989. I worked as a graphic designer, after Multimedia and Digital Arts studies. In the same time and in self-taught, that I refined my creativity and my technique by privileging a physical contact with the support, through drawing and painting.
Since I was little, I am attracted by the beautiful pictures and the desire to create. This need for expression appeared to me as an evidence and a way of being. ART ET BE is the anagram of my surname BERETTA, and literally means "Art and Being". In a way, it is my philosophy of life: the Art of being and being art.
My works are witnesses of my state of mind and my emotions. My style is characterized by geometric shapes evoking the stained glass art. I like to represent the complexity of a scene or a personality, through the association of basic forms. I also like to mix figurative and abstract art, highlighting the paradox, the fragility, the desire to escape or the metamorphose.
