Born in Slovakia, the award-winning artist resides and exhibits in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The combination of intuition and deep connection to the inspiration of creation itself runs like a fine red thread through all her works. Each painting is filled with multiple layers of paint, building a rich history and story into each piece. Simona is influenced by the work of Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell, Willem de Kooning, Van Gogh and Monet.
To paint, Simona solely uses her fingers to enhance her expressionistic approach. She chooses vibrant, contrasting colours in order to best demonstrate and communicate her emotions and experiences.

Simona has participated in several group exhibitions in Dubai and her art pieces were displayed at the art gallery in Central London. A collection of her artwork was selected to be exhibited across the Head office of Emirates Airlines in Dubai. In February 2015 she held her first solo exhibition, which was inaugurated by HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hasher Al Maktoum in Sharjah, U.A.E.
In 2018 her new art pieces were exhibited at the Etihad Modern Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi and her artwork was launched in The Middle East Art Collector Book.
Internationally exhibiting her artwork in group exhibitions in Dubai, Tokyo, Singapore, Swiss Art Expo and most recently participating in the prestigious London Art Biennale 2019, Simona Jachimecova has cultivated a strong global reputation and her art is treasured in many public and private collections worldwide.
