Handle with Care

"Gallery 104 is pleased to present Handle with Care, a solo exhibition of thirteen works by New York-based artist and designer Christian Boss. Curated by Gallery 104 Director Beth Hughes, this show brings together acrylic and aerosol painted works that explore interrelated ideas about mass media, the cult of celebrity, and notions of authenticity in the digital age."

"Townley Gallery is pleased to present JINNS AMONG US, a solo exhibition of new oil paintings by the Turkish-American artist Levent Tuncer. Works comprising the show are drawn from the artist’s most recent series 'Jinndom.'"

New Funding, and an Expanding Audience for Gallery 104

"Ultimately, 1stdibs’s partnership with Christie’s means that a new subset of collectors will be browsing the diverse offerings on display, both at its physical showroom and on its digital marketplace. This will increase buyer traffic and directly benefit the artists who exhibit at 1stdibs, including the current group who are part of Gallery 104’s June exhibition: Harold Barnard, Jane Sinclair, Olga Feshina, Sirenes, Jill Nonnemacher, Adrienne Anbinder, Sherry Krivosheev, Susan McKenna List, Ashley Vanore, M. Clark, Blakelee Harmon, Mae Jean, and Michail Papavalodoukas."

NY RAMBLING: Drawing Light from the Shadows

"NYA Gallery is pleased to present NY Rambling: Drawing Light from the Shadows, a solo exhibition of large-scale charcoal drawings by Miriam Innes. In 2018, the artist embarked on an ambitious new project centered on the production of a series of drawings exploring historically significant sites and neighborhoods in Manhattan. Through the use of an organic medium—charcoal—the artist prompts spectators to consider the evolving and fraught relationship between the natural and built environments."
Artist Interview with Jill Keller

Artist Interview with Jill Keller

"For me, the history of Pop Art as well as the street culture of NY, are things that have shown me that art really can be anything and done by anyone. It has shown me that you don't need an expensive education to create magic, you can be anyone from anywhere."
