Memorias de África | Memories of Africa (Dialogues Series) by Cristóbal Carretero Cassinello, Photograph
40 x 20
As an author, I use photography to develop conceptual-based projects by applying a melting pot of photographic styles; Street photography, minimalist and conceptual that combine to tell evocative stories about the relationship and interaction of man with the environment and its vital existence. In individual photography and street photography I use different techniques; as visual trompe l'œil, perspective effects, overlapping planes, which conclude in surreal juxtapositions that lead the viewer to question the prism with which he observes the reality of things. Photography tells us and helps us understand through our own narrative and visual language, our relationship with the world around us.
