ABOUT THE ARTIST:
"A visceral artist, able to cross the apical layer of the image reaching the essence of people" (critic and art curator Pasquale Di Matteo).
My art takes birth from Emotions, I take inspiration from life, from those moments that affect me internally and then I express my feelings on the canvas modulating the color.
Fluid and material color, combined and mixed in always different ways, highlights a part of my "I" and is the real fulcrum of my artistic thinking.
My personal style with expressionist matrix is expressed in a continuous experimentation of techniques, tools, I’m in continuous research.
In my works chromatism and matter, created by pictorial and decisive traces and dripping, dominates the concept of figuration. My works are notthe result of a reasoned mental construction, but are born in hinc et nunc, they are generated by the power of instinct.
I use the tools I have available at the moment of inspiration, I prefer to use acrylic or oil colors to which I addthe ash of my cigar to create gray in all its variants: this kind of grey has become my personal trait, the real signature of my works.
In my paintings there is always a technical and pictorial intimate research. Behind every portrait, every drawing is my own worldview!
I was born in Legnano (MI) in 1969. Little inclined to the rules I took refuge in my passions, speed and painting.
