A native Californian, Deena has lived on the East Coast for 20 years. She grew up in Southern California and many of her paintings are representative of days living on the beach. Most of her works depict elements of nature and tend toward a calming palette.
After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Deena had a successful career in the fashion industry that lead her to New York. She took several years off to be home with her children. In 2010, when her youngest child started kindergarten, she picked up a paintbrush, and hasn't put it down since!
Deena, her husband, and 3 children live in New Canaan, Connecticut.
