As an autodidact, Lamia Berrada discovered her own “soul music” through art.
She is fascinated by lights and colors and recently by women bodies.
Through her collection “A poil mais pas nue” (Nude but not naked), Lamia intentionally paints an aura on her women’s faces, hiding their identities, to prove that nudity is a value judgement while human body is a beauty of nature.
During her travels, and through the plane window, Lamia captures the shape and aura of her destinations that she expresses with knives on her canvases
Lamia is a strategy consultant and finds inspiration from her culture, her country she lives in, Morocco, and her different travels around the world.
Lamia speaks three languages, English, Arabic and French.
