Wells King
Wells King is an African American, Virginia based abstract and fluid abstract artist. She has been creating art since she was able to hold a pencil, however she did not fully immerse herself in her art until after surviving domestic violence. Wells King uses a combination of color, texture, and movement to process and explore the world around her and the emotions which arise from her experiences. Her art is a window into her journey of healing from trauma. It is her journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
