Following his retirement from the U.S. Department of State, Nick and his wife, Pat (a multi-media artist) moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he began a second career as a photographer and a professional scuba diver. Nick continues to work and travel throughout the world, giving him the opportunity to photograph a wide array of countries and peoples and do underwater photography at some of the best dive locations in the world. He is a member of a number of local art groups and displays his photography at several galleries in the Myrtle Beach area. He has also recently begun writing and publishing both photographic and written novel books.
