He has also made a successful career as a Fine Art artist, with shows in galleries and Museums in New York, New Jersey and Mexico. In 2013 he had a solo show at the Hunterdon Art Museum with his Exvida project, and he will show that installation in other museums in the near future.
In New York I have been influenced by the work of the great American artists, graphic designers, New muralism, pop, graffiti and conceptual art.
Some of the themes that I have explored are family scenes and migration. I have done it in 1150 different paintings worked during 7 years as memoir in ex-voto style, and a large group of paintings in oil.
Lately I am staring a new series with humorous political twists, with more technical rendering, and explosive graphic coloring, in oil paintings, silkscreen, woodcuts and etchings.

2014-15 Artist in residence for the “Day of the Dead Parade” of the RNA –Riverview Neighborhood Association in Jersey City, NJ. He worked with children to build Giant Puppet Heads. He coordinated and directed the parade.
